SEXplorations – Discover your Authentic Sexuality

The SEXplorations Series is an opportunity to research different modes of sensual and sexual relating. Each month, there will be two presentations.

  1. A two-hour introductory talk with time for questions, and a short experiential process.
  2. A practicum/lab where we will explore the topic more deeply with full immersion into exercise and play

The most important rule at every event is “don’t do anything you don’t want to do.”

In my quest for my own Authentic Sexuality, I did a lot of research.  It was so helpful to allow myself to learn the wide array of ways that are available for experiencing sexual turn-on in order to discover what things I wanted as a part of my sexual expression.  I invite you to come and dip your toe in the water with me.  Whether you are already experienced, or just curious, you will learn and have fun during this series of offerings.  Take one, take them all, it’s a smorgasbord of sensuality to choose from.

All sessions are stand alone, and discounts apply to taking multiple classes.  Locations are in West Asheville.

Relationship Styles, From Monogamy to Swinging to Polyamory and Beyond
During this evening, we will be exploring different styles of relationship.  Learn more about:

  • What is ethical non-monogamy?
  • Swinging vs. polyamory
  • Styles of polyamorous relationships
  • Consensus building and negotiation
  • Safe sex
  • Handling jealousy
  • Conscious Monogamy

Authentic Sexuality Play Party

 

This is the lab for alternatives to monogamy.  That might look like sharing a sensual experience with your committed partner in a space where other people are also sexing. You might explore relating to someone of the same sex, or multiple partners. You might want to be in the energy of the erotic, and stay within your own energy field.

We start with a sharing circle that allows us to transform from a room full of strangers to a sacred community, allowing us to see and be seen, in words and in silence. We will do some playful exercises to allow you to practice the “safer sex conversation”, and the art of negotiation.  Learn the power of asking for what you want.  Know your own boundaries and be honored when you set them.  Can you imagine tasting another’s soul?

And then we practice conscious loving! What do we mean by Practice?

This party is an opportunity to treat all life as an experiment. Since our cardinal rule is “Don’t do anything you don’t want to do,” you set the stage.  You are invited to dance in the space of eros, where sensuality and sexuality can be freely expressed without judgment. You can play with one or many. You can watch, because looking is participation too! We will create a space that is safe, stimulating, conscious, and nurturing, and you are encouraged to explore yourself, your desires, and your limits by yourself and with others. And most of all, to HAVE FUN.

WHAT’S EXPECTED OF ATTENDEES:

Think about this before you register. Are you sensually, erotically and emotionally savvy enough to Play nicely with other?. Do you take responsibility for yourself and your experiences? Are you are somebody who knows your own wants and boundaries and can communicate them clearly…… and/or you’re someone willing to work and explore these areas for your own growth and enjoyment! If you’re reading this, thinking, “I would love to come, but I’m not sure I want to participate,” PLEASE COME and enjoy the pressure-free company of like-minded individuals and leave whenever you fell full. Really. There will be no pressure for you to do anything you don’t want to do. We will go over party etiquette at the start, and watching is a totally acceptable way to play.

This is a conscious play party and you’re invited to show up with a fun-loving, warm, caring, open-minded, generous, thoughtful, compassionate, non-judgmental attitude and to you conduct yourself with the highest level of integrity possible.

The Fifty Shades Phenomenon Intro to Kink Curious about the world that broke into the mainstream with the novel Fifty shades of Grey?  During this lecture and discussion you will learn:

  • Some of the favorite types of kinky play – from bondage and  impact play to service and humiliation
  • How to introduce kinky play and spice up your relationship

Kink Lab 101

The Kink lab is an opportunity to try things out, and see first-hand how kinky play can be both erotic, and deeply intimate and soulful. During this three-hour practicum, we will begin with community building exercises in order to get to know our fellow participants.  After that, a series of games and exercises will give you the opportunity to learn new skills, fine tune the ones you already have, and explore.  We approach everything from the perspective of research at the lab.  Do I like this?  Do I like that? What do I want to try again?!  As with all the sessions, the number 1 rule is don’t do anything you don’t want to do.  Watching is participation. You are encouraged to bring your own toys, rope etc. if you wish. Some will be provided.

  • Open to all genders and orientations
  • Practice all night with your own partner or pair up with other participants
  • Dress code ranges from “vanilla” to fetish

Intro to Energy Sex

Join us to explore the world of tantra, or energetic sex. During this discussion coupled with some brief experiential processes, you will learn

  • Seeing and Being Seen
  • Connection through touch
  • Sensing and Modulating your energy

Energetic Sex Magic
During this 3 hour playshop, we will build a container of community, and then journey through the senses. When you are able to experience the free flow of your sexuality, you open yourself to all of your creativity, emotions and vitality. Join us to experience how you can amplify your own sexual energy and enjoy that flow as you interact with others. Dance in the exchange of eros at this evening of sacred community and safe, playful experiential exercises. This is an opportunity to engage all of your senses of touch, taste, smell, sight, hearing AND conceptual thought to turn up your turn-on.  The most important rule of the evening is “don’t do anything you don’t want to do.” Come feel your body’s joy and your heart’s longings.

Dress code is come comfortable, and in something that makes you feel sexy.  Lingerie, pajamas, sarongs or a robe are all appropriate.
